What's In a Number?
I read in the news that today is the United States President Obama's 49th birthday. What a co-incidence because tomorrow is the one-month countdown to my own 50th birthday which makes me eleven months plus one day older than he is. Holy crap! If I didn't feel so grounded, self-confident and self-empowered in my own life, I may feel, oh just a tad, er...old.

By the same token, you can look at it in a relative way....Obama must feel like a pretty young guy...
My David turns 50 in October this year too - I would never have thought about him as being older than Obama either ! Weird...Well, you may be a tad older but you sure have a lot more freedom than Barak does. Enjoy the trip, my friend ! Big Love to the perfectly aged you. ;)

My 50s have been pretty awesome...and within a few more years I'm heading towards 60! You could always do what my son did ...the year he turned 30, he simply told everyone he was 20-10. Right now he's 20-14!
