You know it's cold when... (Part 1)

1) the locks on the INSIDE of your house are covered in frost;
2) you sniff outside because, well, the cold air makes your nose run, and your nostrils stick together;
3) you can't blink outside because the water in the corners of your eyes freezes instantly;
4) feet? what feet?
5) IF your car starts, you drive around on what feels like square tires all day;
6) even the kids and dogs don't want to stay outside for longer than absolutely necessary.

Extra socks and a pashmina around me for the day !
Stay as warm as you can, lovely Kim !

It is cold if the kids and dogs don't want to go outside. Yuck!

Ah yes, gotta love Canadian winters!

Thanks for visiting my blog! It looks like we have a few things in common. :-)

You win. Frozen locks inside??

(Add to the list – when the mice head indoors. I think I’m beyond your suggestion of using “Hire a Husband.” I need an exterminator. I’ve seen three mice scurry across the kitchen floor today. I got the screaming-meemies… They win.)

Brrrrrr.... That sounds real cold. We woke up to snow today and it's falling again now. It's probably only a couple of degrees below freezing though. My sister's brand spanking new boiler has packed up. She is cold!
