Professional Help

This is either funny or an indication I need to seek professional help. I just hung out this long line of wash and realized at the end that I forgot to put soap in the machine. (nervous laughter) I have been suffering some serious metal fogs, which I put down to peri-menopausal brain vacations. I'm going for funny. Hear me laughing? All you yung'uns are probably shaking your heads saying, "nope - definitely professional help" but just you wait another ten years...

if that is what menopause and hormones have in store, i am in big trouble as I could have easily done the same thing but it would have been the hubby who would have noticed, not me ! Yikes, I am scared !
Just think of it as you are doing more important things then getting life's mundane details all perfect ! That's what I tell myself...and that's what my professionals tell me too ! ;)

Happy Monday !

lol!!! I've done it too and you feel such a dork, don't you?? Or I've put the soap and water in the machine with the clothes and forgot to close the lid and hours later wonder why the clothes never made it to the dryer!!! It will pass...and there will be other memory farts and you'll learn to just smile and say "hey, that's life"!! :)

I'm laughing! Mr. Dragon and I call them brain frogs ... never know what kind of leap there will be next. Welcome to the world ... you are normal. I have been assured that the detergent has nothing to do with getting the wash clean ... it's all in the agitation. !!!!!!!!!!!

Too funny, but in the big picture, the water alone will probably have done a decent job of getting out sweat etc. But you are right about the absent minded stuff; just a few weeks ago, I arrived at work without my work bag containing kids homework, my lunch and water bottle. But i had toted along my library returns bag; you can tell where my brain was:)

Haha, that's too funny. It happens to us all - don't worry.

Yes, well we've all been there with the forgetfulness - now if only I could rememeber my last good example!
By the way, your washing may not have been as clean as it could have been but it sure looks arty!
