Book

Last night I cancelled anything else I was planning on doing so I could finish "Your Sad Eyes and Unforgettable Mouth," by Edeet Ravel. It was an incredible book. Under 300 pages, I read it in four days (two of them full-time work days, which isn't to say I was slacking off there!). There is not a scene or character in the book that is wasted and the prose is just that. I highly recommend it. A few years ago I read her, "Ten Thousand Lovers, " which takes place in Israel and am now in hot pursuit of the second one in that trilogy.
